A Pileus Iridescent Cloud Over Ethiopia
Close up of A Pileus Iridescent Cloud Over Ethiopia - A pileus iridescent cloud is a group of water droplets that have a uniformly similar size and so together diffract different colors of sunlight by different amounts. There are unusual dark and wavy bands whose origins are thought related to wave disturbances in the cloud. These wave disturbances could theoretically be man-induced by geoengineering. — at Image Credit: Esther Havens/Light the World.
